Hurricanes Take Flight to National 18's

Published: 10 September 2013

Three of the North Queensland Touch Association's top junior referees are today on their way to referee at the 2013 National Youth Championships on Queensland's Sunshine Coast.

Taleisha Perfect, Danielle Maltby and Emily Marsh are part of a small contingent of the North's referees who will be refereeing the best under 18 sides from around Australia in this years event. They will join NQ Hurricanes mentors Scott Marsh and Kerrod Hall as well as referees from across the country in refereeing at the event.

For Marsh and Maltby, it's not the first time they've had the chance to referee at a national level; both were appointed to referee at the School Sport Australia National Championships in Brisbane last year.

The North Queensland Touch Association would like to wish all of our attending referees good luck for the event.
